i like this one a lot, but i think i'd like it more if that dark shadow wasn't cutting through the pic because you've got some interesting things going on with those splatters.

Good idea for this challenge. There is a bit of a moire (repeating patterns or something distracting) in the shadow. I'm not sure how you'd correct it. In this case, I like that you used really harsh sunlight to make an effective composition with the shadows. Too bad you can't spot edit to make the shadow a little different. But great idea- my comments are minor - and I'm giving it a 9.
