Darn fine job with the focus for a self portrait! I've never been able to figure that out. Good job with the light - it feels a bit like window light (though I suspect it's an actual light) and you've done well to avoid hot spots. I just checked the comments and a couple others have pointed out what I was going to say next - the hands are entirely too clean! :-) The flour on the face looks too "posed", especially given how clean the hands and arms are. Still, as I said I'm very impressed with the focus and a very good idea for the challenge!
awww... kudos to you for doing this. I thought it was cute and should have finished with a higher score. Maybe the hands were too clean lol, who knows. Fun idea for your photo.
