We were driving home from South Dakota when it started raining and I spotted this scene. I told my friend to pull over right then and there, grabbed a pancho and jumped out into the rain. I loved how eery the softness in the trees were. The fisheye lens ended up being a little too wide to quite capture what I wanted but I am still happy with how this scene came out. I couldn't believe I managed to get the rain in the photo without the whole picture blurring or getting water on my camera. Woo!
Wow, so sweet to look at this, just really into this shot, assume you focused on the cloud? your sky is so defined, and those streaks of rain...I love the rain, and have bad luck taking photos in it. I guess it was only drizzling? Looks great, as does the foreground and shallow DOF which smoothed out the trees; Fav!
