 Tough choice this month for an entry. Had two cracker sunsets the last two days of the month. Going with my gut (which was definitely wrong last month). The bush looks like a beheaded conductor conducting at the sunset. I wonder if anybody else would see it (doubt it).

The title makes it for me.

he rose above the waters
to play his last hurrah
but no one even listened
his tunes were so bourgeois

so as the sun was setting
he made his final bow
and sank into the waves
as only he knew how

your colors are spot on...they are quite vibrant and peaceful at the same time, I only wish that your little tree were in sharper focus...otherwise a very pleasing shot

Nice landscape shot with good colours which are reflected nicely on the water. Not so sure about the foreground object, I'm sure it has something to do with the title but I don't really get it, and I'm not convinced that the plant / tree adds anything at all.

I do think the foreground would be a little bland without something, but I don't think the something you have is what it needs.
