An 8 hour drive plus 45 minutes on a boat to get to this nesting site off the coast of northern Maine. Very cool! There's little evidence of these birds until you get within sight of the island, and suddenly there are thousands of puffins, razorbills, common murres, and few others (we saw eiders and seals). There are 4 blinds set up on the island, and you shoot from little windows in these shacks to avoid disturbing the birds. Well worth the trip!
