I like your idea - I do wish the candle and the head were also straight up and down like the candle on the right. We have seen close ups of peoples faces on the site, so not "sold" on the uniqueness of your image.
I've stared at this for quite a while, and I'm just not sure what to think about it. So I'll just say that it's technically well done, and definitely not something I've seen before.

Ok... you did it! This is very strange!! hahahahaha!! Your black shirt was a nice idea to cut your head off!! I just think that would be nice to have the candles paralels and at the same size,,, to give more symetry to the photo.
