I don't generally like noise in an image, so this was tough for me. Decided I wanted something textured (maybe old) and lo and behold, my windowsills need painting ;-) Used one on the front of the house, where the bricks are, for more texture. I wanted the flower for contrast; the dried petal fell off as I was placing the flower and I really liked the emotion of the full bloom looking a little depressed next to the petal. My imagination running wild again.
PP - converted from RAW, cropped, levels, white balance, duotone with 30% original color preserved, increased saturation on dried petal, sharpened, resized, sharpened again, added more noise, added border.

Love the purple and the brown. Nice desat treatment. Great dof, though the flower could be just a little lighter to pull it even more from the background.
