I really liked this subtle study, I gave it an 8. I especially like the riot of branches, which seems to energize the shot, despite the relatively subdued tones.
I'm sorry, this doesn't do much for me. The left hand side is interesting, but the bright white spot is all you end up looking at. (what an awkward sentence... sorry)
Your image is so grainy and blurry...abstract that for me, it doesn't hold my interest. Also, trees have been photographed in abundance here on the site...sorry :-(
An interesting shot. Without the title, though, I wouldn't be able to figure out what it is. Is it a masterpiece? No. But, it's an interesting shot to study. (not voting)
You just don't see this often on DPC. The obscure but yet somehow life affirming pattern that enhances the almost tadpole like droplets of rain. The work of a true photographic genius.
A lovely semi-recognizable abstract. I really like the bits of rain, and the one bright sharp one is perfect. I'm not as big a fun of the multi-color noise, though. I probably would have turned this into a nice grainy duotone, myself. In fact, I tossed the Nik Silver Efex Pro Soft Sepia preset on it and it looks fabulous.
