I know it's a bird--but at least I was trying to do something different! I put out a piece of glass from a glass-topped table, set my camera underneath (hoping they wouldn't poop at an angle when they flew in), and sat as far as I could, while tethered to the remote shutter release. I guess the 40D can't inexpensively do a infrared release...)
It's kind of a funky shot, so I wasn't sure how it would go over. It's doing better than I thought, still hoping to pull over 6.0 (but probably not likely anymore...)
