This is extraordinarily well done--shallow dof, luminous subject against a deep, dark background--just beautiful, plain and simple.
Hey Michelle, firstly well done with this image, nice.... and secondly, if I'm calculating right, you've got through to the next round on the side challenge.
i dont think the actual image has to be 'peaceful' for a person to get a very zen feeling from it ..
i think that's a mistake that a lot of ppl, especially in dpc make ..
when an image is busy i can lose myself a whole heap more than if its only got one or two elements .. but that's me .. i get bored easily .. !! .. lol ..
