Across the valley southwest of Salt Lake City sits a copper mine visible to astronauts in orbit. Suburban developement is beginning to mingle with the minimg area, leading to conflicting opinions about priorities. Morning light as seen from work, pocket camera (otherwise would have missed the shot -- no time to return home for better equipment).
What beautiful light! I have never been to Salt Lake City but it's on my short list. This is a beautiful moment in time, pocket camera not withstanding. I use mine all the time to grab the quick moments that would be missed if I had to run for the "big gun." Lovely!
It was definately a good call to snap this with your pocket camera.

This is interesting to me because I saw it and wondered what it was when I flew into Salt Lake City last summer.
I also like the light that you had for this shot. I keep my P&S handy at all times too.
