A great rough cut timber fence. The interest int hese is in the imperfections in the wood, the turned beam, the uneven cut of the pickets, the warping of members. And you have captured it really well.
Sepia is perfect for this, an old style fence processed in the oldstyle way...
This is quite unusual. It looks so rough that you might think that it was just thrown together but when you look closer you can see distinct order and symmetry. This is a good view of it too.
Normally a picket fence with pointed tips associates with a prim and proper yard and careful paint job. This one flies in the face of that concept, with rough cross pieces, heavy uprights, and additional upper elements all making this look rather crude and old. Good reasons to like it, and good job capturing it well.
