Some might find the stuff on the left "confusing" or in need of being cropped. To me, it makes the picture. When taken as a whole, it's an interesting and a bit bittersweet story. I don't see a tourist - I see a woman past her prime (I can relate) watching life pass her by. The shoe undone (her foot hurts), the light, which isn't shedding any light, the hand so clearly saying STOP, and the camisole on the mannikin, signifying the perfect form which can never be achieved. |
