Picture was taken on a night dive on Tuesday on the Wreck of the Balboa. This wreck has some great macro photography, but getting that close to an octopus without an SLR is impressive, he was so amazing to watch.

Very neat pic. I love the way the eye just stands out from the rest of the pic. It has a really cool 3d look to it. The only thing I question on this pic is the framing, if it could be moved a little to one side or the other. I think it would improve the pic, but that's my opinion. - Inspzil
I believe you and you may have suckered me in. But I really like the texture of this animal. Unique eye. I don't think I've ever seen one like that. Also the coloring is awesome. a couple of focus flaws on the right but who cares. This is a good 8 anytime. PTL
