Excellent shot - I agree with BJamy that a hand written musical score may have added more depth and intimacy to this, I also wonder what this would look like with with just a hint of the colour returned to it. Again while I really like the crispness of the B&W, it might just make it feel warmer with a hint of colour.
Very nice shot though and undervalued at that score.
It sounds like the bridal march, so that's good thinking. Can't help but saying that had you written it down yourself, getting that handwriting feel, would make a completely different photo, and a better one in my oppinion. But a good photo indeed! Maybe some stronger color on the rose.
