Very ineresting subject.
I think you did well to choose an angle to add to the compostion.
Did you try taking this at different times of the day when the shadows were different?
What would A night photo look like?

This looks like an apartment that would be in Alice in Wonderland. I would have been tempted to try a monochrome conversion but I think this is probably the right approach for the subject.

Interesting building and shot, but the shadow at lower right is a little too prominent and seems to unbalance the picture somewhat.
