You have a special talent for knowing when to go with two tones instead of color. You have turned a beautiful field of flowers (something I have seen plenty of) into a surreal mutant lichen bloom on some alien planet (something I have never seen before). Fantastic!
I like the image. The foreground leaves are well exposed and sharp. The mountain and the clouds draw the eyes to the end of the picture. The contrast and balance of the overall picture makes it stand out.
There's too much going on in the photo for my eyes, the sharp and clear foreground with the flowers and the repetition makes me feel like I'm looking at an optic illusion.
I'm pretty sure it would work really well though as a really big print.
