Lovely textures and color. I think I would have cropped out the green... but that's just my opinion. The processing makes this look like a leather sofa. I like it. (not voting)
nice idea, but I'm not sure it works. The green on the right really pulls your eye away. I like the off center, but I think it would have been stronger if you cropped the leaves off. there really isn't a need to see his/her whole rear end, and it would have drawn the eye to the face instead.
Well, I'm sure I'm not the first to say, or at least think, that some text would definitely improve this shot as a challenge entry. As a stand-alone photo, it's awesome!
I really like the angle/perspective/framing of this - that bit of green behind is a nice touch, and good job bringing out the textures on this beautiful creature. Looks like a reasonably young elephant, yes?
I think this is the most fantastic image in the challenge. Love the texture, color, light, and crop. With some text on a broader border, you would have had an awesome poster. Still, this may be a winner.
