A plane lands, tourists get out. They scurry about about, readying themselves for their big day at the Zoo. Being several blocks away from the Airport this is just about as far in to San Deigo as they get. They trample each other, hurrying to take in that which can't in a single day.
Meanwhile, about 30 miles NE of San Diego the locals have the Wild Animal Park (part of the Zoo organization). Don't tell anyone but it is a much neater place to visit.
