This pretty much sums up where I live and what I've been doing this week. I can't complain about the rain though, coz we've had about 15 years of low rainfall. Took this through wet window of my car.

Going through the thumbnails in this thread, yours stood out for me as this is pretty much my view on my commute throughout the winter. I guess that's one of the things photographs do, it reminds one of things familiar. Nice shot.
Light playing with the closer water droplets creates quite a sparkling splash around the car, reminiding me of compositions combining crinkled aluminum foil with paper and paints. Very artistic take on the fleeting variations of an ostensibly ordinary setting.
looks like around where i live .. altho i havent been out for a few days coz my car broke down ..
love the light effects marion .. we've been having heaps of rain too ..
sort'v funny seeing the firebrigade truck on such a rainy day .. altho i spose fires happen even when its raining .. :)
