 I took this about a month ago and just found it in on memory card. I did some adjusting in Topaz and then did a layer in Color Efex Pro to darken the background a bit more.

Have you considered a square crop to make the "slash" of light more dramatic? Very clever processing.

Reminds me of the song "I wear my sunglasses at night"...:-) That patch of light is so cool!

Lovely shot. I'll bet she was glad of those sunglasses as she was caught in the 'spotlight'. I love portraits that emerge from and disappear into dark shadows.
