 I must admit to a bias for high contrast and for pure bright white, which photographers see as blown detail, alas. Magnolia flowers are messy & disorganized, difficult to find a good camera angle especially because they are usually 'way over my head. I was lucky this year to find a young tree in a good season, &plenty of flowers within reach. All comments welcome.

I love the composition, and the white on black. The form of the flower is beautiful and its condition immaculate.

The composition is really good, and the important detail is still there, I also like a dark bg when it comes to flowers. Nice work!
