Just some notes for later - all the 'artifacts' and dust spots noted as being on this image are really parts of the skull. The only slight distortion came from the curvature of the mirrored surface on which the skull rested.

this is really cool but I think you over sharpened...see the glow lines on the top of the ...and your mirror want very clean (or you sensor)...just wondering is that what they mean when they talk about "hot pixels/spots"?
This is an interesting subject and the reflection works. I just wish that the post processing was better. I don't think that the film grain is effective here and one can clone out dust specks in Advanced Editing.
