I don't really think there's much to explain once you know that it is glass, but I'm glad that people liked it. I had thought about doing bubbles and then realized that these candle holders had really cool bubbles in them. The trick was getting them in focus and lit well. Unfortunately, they reflected EVERYTHING in the room, but I was the only person. The brown thing on the right side is a cardboard box.

This is one of those I don't know what it is but it is beautiful. Not knowing doesn't affect me at all. The color is outstanding, the focus is great the uniqueness is great. I've never given a 10 to an "I don't know" but I must this time because of the quality of the photo. Congratulations. This will be in my favorites. PTL This is a one of a kind. This is a great photo.. i expect to see it in the top 3 this week. I love the abstract nature of it and the blue here is just incredible... This looks like something I would expect to see in outer space... or in some science fiction movie :) the orientation of this photo lends itself very well to the abstract nature of it... as for improvements, i can't really think of any other than possibly trying a darker setting... great shot :) = 10 - setzler
