A Cara Cara (Mexican Buzzard) was having lunch on the roadside, so I turned around and drove back. I pulled off between the pavement and the bird. He must have been hungry because he stayed there, even after I pulled away.
They are becoming quite plentiful locally. I see several on my way to and from work daily. That's a deer on the ground.
