Not quite as effective as it could be, the narrow center focus field is more of a distraction than a focal point of interest. The overall appearance of this image seems rather bland. While the color combinations are interesting, the lack of depth and dimension are a negative and could have been handled more effectively. A better idea might have been to use a more focused approach and concentrate on the meal ingredients and the foil itself as the plate in the foreground is diametrically opposed to the title and subject matter. |
