[eta] Thanks for the comments--I appreciate you, & I respect that some may not favor the overlay effect. The Celtic knot is something I drew in Paint, doodling, trying to copy the masters. It has the strange effect of putting me to sleep. I was thinking of Tifany glass while working on this, trying to emphasize the backlighting.
I've favourited this one as I absolutely love it! I'm going to have to find out about overlays as I see this image as more of art photography and introduces another level of creativity. Good Work!
Well this is a welcome variation on your typical daffy image- I can see you had fun & the result is just lovely- letting just enough show thru - well done !!!
Very cool overlay application here that did a good job concealing the imperfections in the closeset flower (only noticeable in the original). I like how it appears that you erased or reduced the opacity of the overlay so that the center of the second flower back is revealed in just enough detail. The background works well here.
