I guess I tend not to focus on anything but what I like in an image-AND I do like the one tiny white being so sharp & the rest bokeh- it appeals to me :)
To me there is too much out of focus background, I had to look to find something in focus. The technique is a good idea for this photo but I'd like to see a different crop or composition.
I like this a lot but I think the top left quadrant is a bit too pronounced; perhaps a slightly more conservative crop where the blown background highlight sits in the top left corner would have been more effective?
At first I thought you were using a lensbaby, so I guess the soft focus lens' do the same thing? Lovely blurred background, presenting your in focus flower front and center!
