After seeing the "My worst shot" thread in the forums, I just had to come and take a look. This has to be one of the greatest cases of someone learning from past results that I've seen on this site.
Very clear shot. Good of whatever it is. I don't know what I'm inside of. But besides my stupidity it is a good shot. When others see I gave you an 8 for it they really are going to think I'm stupid. But the photo is technically good. I just don't know what it is. PTL

While I like this and it is very, very well done, I'm sorry, but I don't quite understand the outstanding attraction. It's really nice, wow, 2700 views. I gotta read some of those 54 comments. is this the colinder we've seen before? if yes, i still like it. nice shot, just the right combination between abstract and recognizable. :) challenge -- met technical -- very well done. great DOF, especially for such a close-up. the reflections add to the shot, as does the blue cast. composition -- great use of ROT. -- gr8photos
I have no idea what this is, BUT I love the repeating pattern and the strength of the diagonal lines and how they contrast with the round "holes." Great focus. karmat
