Nice color on the water. Might consider cropping out upper sky to elimiate the contrail and give more prominence to the water and boat.

A good solid image that is crisp, sharp, properly framed and composed - a technical success in every way. From an artistic standpoint, it is an intersting image but of less than universal appeal because of the featureless dark areas. A good entry into the challenge.
