 A tulip in my living room, masked editing of the surroundings and distracting leaves (curves) and converted to black and white with a tint. Some cloning and dodging an burning. Sharpened, mirrored and saved for web.

Minimalism as an artform is the idea of reducing something to it's most basic form including colour, shape, value, lines and texture - or lack of. This basic capture exemplifies the concept of reduction to it's very elements. Simple and exquisite, it accomplishes the goal of pleasing curves and shapes and the flat grayscale presentation is a perfect fit. Probably not understood by many, this is an excellant representation of minamalist photography in the vein of Orit Raff. Well done.
