Lower emerald falls, Zion National Park, Utah. Low flow made classic water-falling-over-a-ledge pictures unsatisfactory, but looking away from where all the other cameras were pointed revealed that the colors of the rocks below are wonderful. First visit has me understanding now why others consider this park such a magical place.

A good solid image that is crisp, sharp and properly framed and composed - a technical success in every way. From an artistic standpoint, it is an interesting image and very different. A good entry into the challenge.
