this one totally wow'ed me in the challenge .. the amazing clarity of the dog and the way he's looking straight at me .. its such a brilliant image .. i was expecting to see it at least on the front page .. :)

I really wish that you had cropped a little tighter and/or cloned out the distracting yellow item in the background which slightly ruins a top shot for me... best of luck.

I try very hard to stay in the third person and be as neutral as possible, but this image brought tears to my eyes. I recently lost my red Border Collie Duke to a stroke - best dog I ever had. He was as intense as he was friendly, happy and fun to be with - he ran Agility courses with boundless energy and concentration always having fun and doing his very best - he was my best friend forever. This image evokes his memory in ways I just can't describe - he was with me for thirteen wonderful and memory filled years and I miss him terribly. Thank you for this wonderful image.
