Taken on a family outing to take photos for the Train/Railways III challenge, during which I was also scouting locations for the upcoming sofobomo.

This is a favourite location of mine, having been where I took my current highest rated photo which placed 4th in the purple III challenge.

Processing... some Lightroom tweaking, then export ~6 variations of exposure, and then HDR it in Photomatrix pro. Sharpen in Fireworks and Levels too.

A solid image that is crisp, sharp and properly framed and composed - a technical success in every way. From an artistic standpoint, it has significant impact being richly colored with excellant detail. This image would have worked as a black and white as well. A perfect demonstration of the power of properly controlled light and focus. A top ten image and a very strong contender for a ribbon. Well done.
