I have always loved the idea of using direct sunlight as backlighting, but most of the time there is just not enough light on the face and body to make it work without a really good reflector. I got super lucky in this shot because Suzanne's mom held a white reflector which made the lighting ratio much better. This did not have very much editing at all, I just darkened the hot spot on her should which was originally almost blown out, but I darkened it in raw form so that I could retrieve more detail.
