Taken at the local botanical gardens, went down to actually take a few photos of a larger bird in flight, these little fellows put on a show that I believed fitted the challenge with more motion shown in their actions rather than a bird showing open wings whilst flying.
Used the large lens as they were on the opposite side of the lake when playing around, this was hand held not knowing if I had got a clearly focused shot.

A good animals in action shot which probably suffered coming straight after that theme. To be perfectly honest, I didn't even notice the duck in the others wake... perhaps a different title may have directed to viewer to that detail which may have helped to keep the viewer engaged in the image a moment or two longer. I like the border and think it helps this image.
A good solid image that is crisp, sharp and properly framed and composed - a technical success in every way. From an artistic standpoint, it is an intersting image but of less than universal appeal. A good entry into the challenge.
