Okay, now I recall. I liked this an awful lot but wanted a bit less blurring and yes, a less tight crop. You've achieved that and more with the second version. I'm so glad you continued with this idea. I gave this one a five, BTW. Pretty high for me in this challenge. :D
First thoughts on this was is that a wilting dandelion? Then at second glance the bananas become obvious. I think that the slow shutter speed you used to create such blurring was just too much. I would have liked to have seen some movement in it but also been able to clearly make out a banana.
When I first saw this I didn't like it much at all...too blurry, blah, blah, blah...but it keeps catching my eye, and I find that every time I look at it again it jumps up a point. The more I look at it I see more of a painting quality to it. good job...
This was a really nice and unique idea for this challenge. I think the blurring is a bit excessive for this shot since there's no real action to accompany it, but it still came out pretty well. Good job!
