oh fly away blackbird
away from my face
make me madly blind
your black tipped wings
suffocate my eyes
oh how, such haste
from the slices of feathers
upon iris cries
oh fly away blackbird
away from my ears
make me dearly deaf
your dark scissored rostrum
rips tendered lobes
oh how, such shears
shred fetching fissures
where soft music enrobes
oh fly away blackbird
away from my heart
make me suffer in love
your filthy clutches
claws fourthly my chambers
oh how, such starts
hardened old beats
in time's pain remembers
oh fly away blackbird
you murder of one

Spooky. It looks like a ghosts face. Very good nightmare shot, especially for people who are creeped out by blackbirds.

Very striking and thought-provoking image. And the poem is excellent - well suited to the picture. (Edit for fat fingers)

hello bottom 10% neighbor! not familiar with the poem but it does seem quite fitting for the photo. so dark and spooky - it makes you wonder what is happening in the shadows.

Provocative imagery here using the black crow/raven like bird to evoke a sense of death - well done.

Reminds me of Salvador Dali, very surreal but effective. 7
