A difficult shot to pull of in the best of circumstances, this is a creative use of lighting, unfortunately it falls just short of being really effective. The overdone flash created a cartoonish effect on the palm and detracts from the rather dramatic sky. A softer flash, perhaps through a gause screen or a light reducer would have been a better choice. A good solid effort though and it clearly meets the challenge criteria. |
