Sometimes a challenge provides a method to stretch the author's concepts and abilities in meeting subjective criteria. In this case, clearly the author thought it out and composed an outstanding image using standard macro techniques adding artistic offset and a different use of DOF to create what is viewed by this reviewer as simply perfect. From the nicely rounded effect of the magnifying glass frame to the detail in the leather material to the clever use of lighting to keep a smooth even tonal quality to the color this is an example of thinking out side the box and a brilliant use of everyday material to create a spectacular image. This should be a ribbon winner if not the top prize. Well done. |
