I can see why you didn't want to submit this. Its not your usual crisp style being a little grunged up ... but I for one like grunged images sometimes and compositionally/content wise this is a fine image.

I love it! I'm sure glad you did. This is the kind of train photo, with all the smoke and dusky light that really grabs me. Congratulations on an honorable mention!
The unfortunate over sharpening hurts this image in a major way. A great concept and a good capture should have been left alone to stand on it's own merits. There is a lot of impact here and from an artistic standpoint, it's nearly perfect. Unfortunate.
