The subject is an afro-cuban statue of a pregnant woman. I'm starting to wonder if I should have picked a clearer subject. Since the challenge was Lighting, I didnt bother to make the subject easy to understand.
Light and shadow meet the challenge in a sound way in this image. Unfortunately, the overall impact of this concept is less than overwhelming. It might have worked better in color. It does meet the challenge though which is a plus.
