The bright reflection is a tiny bit distracting but overall this is well done. I'm not much of a fan of borders but this one works. Maybe just a little closer to the edge on it would be better though.
An image that demonstates the subject matter of the challenge in a different fashion with excellant DOF and color control. An unfortunate white bloom affects the image negatively. An artistic success that more than adequately meets the challenge subject in particular with the unique color.
I love this shot and I have an idea I know who took it, as I seem to remember you saying you like photographing engine components and everytime I see shots like this it makes me keen to go to the shed and pull out some old parts to shoot.
I really hope we see this on the front page beacuse thats where it deserves to be. 10
