Pre-challenge notes:
I'm fond of this, but I have found my liking of strong perspectives is not shared by all. Hoping for a mid 5, but of course, I do not have a clue when it comes to figuring out what has broad appeal. Therefore, I continue with the policy of entering what I personally prefer.
Post challenge notes:
Came in about where anticipated. I'm happy with anything over a 5 1/2 these days. The voting stats tell me this had strong appeal for a few folks. The commenters average was quite high, and I had more 6 votes than anything else.

An image that demonstates the subject matter of the challenge in good fashion with excellant DOF and color control. A technical and artistic success that more than adequately meets the challenge subject in particular with the color.
So many textures here - from the smooth columns to the rough stone to the detail work along the windows and trim to the calm sky. The angle is interesting too. I only wish that you had either included more of the large window on the bottom or none of it. 9.
