 Description:
Shoot a photograph that would make a great postcard.

I really had no idea that it HAD to be of a place, the description didn't state it. Mine, though is coming from my heart, I figured that you barely see a starfish in with Autumn leaves, so thats how I came up with Mixed Emotions. I love it...reflects my moods of late.

To me this is more of a greeting card then a post card. So to me its a dnmc. Mixed Emotions says nothing about the area or place it is from.

I'm not sure about the author's intent here - I think I know, but I'm not getting a real feel for it. As an image, it's very competant, DOF is well controlled and the subtle color mix is truly effective. I like the font, but there are problems with the drop/3D effects as parts of the individual letters disappear - particularly the M and N. This type of font works well with more contrasty backgrounds. I would mark this higher if I was sure of the author's intent.
