Not a lot to say about this image really. Its certainly a shot I enjoy and I can't see much that would improve it and nothing that really is wrong with it. The colors are nicely saturated without being overly so. You did a good job on touching up the sky.
The composition is pretty good. I am a bit divided by having the leading line of the huts take your eye out of the frame but I suspect you shot this at the wide end of your widest lens and there was no way of getting all the buildings in the shot without cutting off one of them.
Its effectiveness as a postcard is pretty good too since it makes me want to visit this place which I think is the goal of a postcard.
I was secretly hoping this would place higher. I dropped a 10 on this because it was composed so well and the colors of the huts were great. You had very stiff competition to go up against.
That's a wonderful big line of color across this shot. Nicely found, and well presented. Good camera placement makes all of the elements balance nicely.
I like this a lot. It would tell people back home, "this is where I stayed." Simple yet effective. Maybe a different angle that showed water as well would have been a good addition.
Definitely one of my top picks in this challenge.. I hope this does well for you. I love the blues and composition of the line of huts. Good lighting too. Have friends who live not far from here, and now I'm tempted to make a visit to see these huts myself.
