A pretty pink rose always warants having a photo taken.
This set up was quite simple. First a spray of water. Natural light from a window stage left. I fired my Metz via a remote and held ot by hand towards the right and high at 45 degrees. Power was set to manual (1/16 I think).
I really like the 1000mm Canon macro and the result is basically straight out of the camera. Just a bit of colour correction in Lightroom and then preparation for the rediculously small 640 pixel image for DPC.
I also did some focus stacking versions but these are not eligible for basic editing

I just adore the soft colors and symetry !!! The water droplets just make it so fresh and inviting I want to put my nose up close and drink in it's fragrance !!! Love it !!
Soft and figured the subject is lit correctly. A better image would have produced zero DOF allowing for more detail and capturing the change in curvature of the petals. A interesting effect with the smooth surface, curves and clear round water drops. A good entry with respect to the challenge parameters.
