This is a classic hotspot in Northeast Minneapolis. It seems to be stuck in another era, so it seemed appropriate for an old fashioned postcard.
Postprocessing included various touches in Lightroom and CS4 to get a faded, old look. I was stuck on the border... it was supposed to look cut out but I couldn't figure it out so I left the white.

The pastels work well, but the author is fighting a rather bland and featureless sky as a background - it is a deficit that the rather interesting subject cannot over come. Font choice and color compliments the subject's subtle color tones.
