Great placement of the flower with the interesting pattern of the stems. Only thing I can think of to improve this is maybe a different bg choice. I like how that little bud interacts with the shape of the flowers petal.
A solid entry into the challenge, it meets the criteria in a different and unique way. From a technical standpoint, the image is a more than adequate even though it appears to be oversharpened. The artistic impact is interesting and is a plus. A more than adequate entry into the challenge.
Beautiful! I love it. The white background works very well and the unattractive branches offset the pretty flower very well. The green halo around the branches is a little frustrating, but that's minor. 8
