I have gazzilions of flower shots but wanted a different approach to this (I know how much macro flowers are adored here !) So looking at my vegetable seedlings, I threw a few ideas around; began with the now almost cliched shot of dirty hands holding a tiny seedling; decided a different idea was needed, so came up with the seedling emerging directly from the fruit. First shots were of a seedling planted in soil in a hollowed out tomato; worked quite well but then tried this simpler version which I preferred.
Would have liked it better had a seedling with bigger leaves been available; give it a couple of weeks !
Shot in a light cube lit by a couple of spots, with a 12mm extension tube on the 24-70 lens to give me a closer focus.
